thoughts at 3:00 AM
All things considered, Friday was a good day. Was able to do a work-around with that kvm switch that’s in the process of dying first thing. Didn’t take too long.
The bus rides out to Walmart and back were better than normal. And my shopping there was surprisingly frugal; kept to my list and made it out of the store with two bags of groceries that only cost $43 and change.
Back home after the shopping I got more chess work done than expected, which is always a good thing.
But… some jerks monopolized the laundry room all evening and night, so I never got to do mine. Oh well, can’t have everything go right, can I?
Saturday’s main chores will include picking up new comics at Alien Worlds, having a bowflex workout, getting a load of laundry done, and prepping for Sunday’s DILO. If I can pull all that off, I’ll consider the day a success.
